Liked: Excellent breakfast with many options of allSorts, they even have decaf coffee. The staff is excellent and so is the room where the breakfast is served.
Disliked: The construction site rightIn front of the hotel but that is not your fault!

Liked: Location and staff were excellent. Close to public transportation, tourist attraction and good food around (as always avoid the tourist streets regarding food).
Disliked: Only thing that could have been better is the couch in the room, looks amazing but not that good for your back to sit on.

Liked: I have stayed at Hotel Liabeny on five occasions over the years, and have always been satisfied. The concierge servicehas always been excellent and the rooms very comfortable.This hotel is about a five minute walk from the central square, at Puerta del Sol, and another few minutes from the Plaza Major. Since three major metro lines cross at Sol, you can reach a large fraction of the city straightforwardly from there. Without using the metro, you can walk, for example, to the Royal Palace at 15 minutes or to the Prado museum in a bit less.When I first came here Hotel Liabeny's rates were below those of other comparable hotels. I have the iimpression that itsrates have risen faster than some others, but it still offers good value for money.
