Nice hotel, they never cleaned...

Liked: It is located at a very central spot. Metro station UQAM is 250 meters, you can go almost everywhere in the city.The staff was very kind.Breakfast was typical, bagels, yoghurt, etc. could improve by adding some tomatoes, cucumber etc. Beds comfortable Refrigerator and the micro is a plus
Disliked: We stayed for 4 nights - 5 days.They never showed up to clean the room, or change the sheets or even provide new soap, or take the garbages out (e.g. from toilets)They had the typical badges: put the towels down, put the sign to change the sheets-linens etc. but no one came in to inspect if the room needed some update in the cleaning status.I booked this hotel primarily because I wanted to be clean. Unfortunately, it did not had the high cleaning standards i was expecting. Last day we show an sign in the elevator.. if you want from us to maid services inform the reception. Was shocked, this is a hotel.When i booked the room from booking i could not find any relative info. So, to me this is also a booking.com flaw.

Liked: Room was ok a little bit dated. Kitchenette handy. Breakfast was pretty good.
Disliked: No restaurant or bar.

Disliked: The breakfast. It was the same breakfast all the 4 days.. We are pure vegetarians.. so I requested for some veg options but I was clearly told that thy cannot do anything for us which I found very disappointing

LaBelle - Great Choice

Liked: 15~ minutes walk from Old Montreal, and close to downtown too. The room was great, I didn't make use of the kitchenette but good to have it there. The room is basic, bed and bathroom but overall location was good and the room was clean so I'm satisfied.
Disliked: Breakfast is 7am to 10am. I went down around 9.30am and nothing was left. Maybe aim to be there earlier as it seems they clean up if there is not a lot of guests.

Liked: Beds were very comfy, location is awesome as you're close to old montreal. Staff let us check in outside hours since we arrived by train.
Disliked: Coffee machine looked new but was completely broken, leaked water instead of brewing. Bathroom sink was clogged. TV was locked at 20 volume and had no way to stream media from my own device to it.

Great location, modern clean rooms,...

Liked: The room was super clean and modern. Having a kitchenette was very convenient and helped us save money by eating out less. The location is incredible - right next to the Village and walking distance to St Denis, the Latin Quarter, Desjardins Complex and many other sights and activities.
Disliked: We had an issue with our TV - the maximum volume was so low that we couldn't hear it at all. Normally we don't watch TV on vacation but my companion got sick during the trip and was bored in the room unable to go out. I had to ask the front desk 4 times over 2 days before they finally sent someone to help us fix the problem. Given the price of our room, this feels a bit unacceptable.
