Hotel Les Deux Gares

Great location in lovely little...

Liked: Excellent location for getting to Eurostar and accessing the Metro. Rooms were a decent size, considering we were in Paris. Bed was very comfortable and loved the shower. Aircon was good and we also had the opportunity to open windows. Considering it was near a train station we thought the area was fine. Two cafe bars nearby with lots of people enjoying their selves. Staff very helpful. Had an early seat so didn’t have time for breakfast.
Disliked: Nothing. Will happily book again when we need another stopover

Okay for a short stay...

Liked: Close to Gare du Nord for train to airport.Nice big bathroom with double shower.Short walk to Canal Saint-Martin
Disliked: Room is very small and felt stuffy.Very narrow corridors always crowded with cleaning supplies.The location is very busy, didn’t feel that safe. Not close to attractions or cafe area.

Very Nice Hotel

Liked: Staff were very friendly. The location is excellent - lots of restaurants and shops around and walking distance to many places. It's between two major train stations if you're traveling a longer distance. Decor was cool and toiletries were high quality. It was nice that the windows opened for fresh air.
Disliked: The issue for us was that our room was on the top floor and the exterior wall conformed to the slope of the roof line, meaning it slanted inward at such an angle that you had to duck and bend to get around the bed every time. I don't know if it was just our room or all rooms on the top floor. We would stay there again if we could get a room on a lower floor.

Liked: Breakfast and location were great and room was very clean.
Disliked: The size of the room was quite small for the price. And bed was very stiff

A lovely and very stylishly...

Liked: The decor was very quirky and cool. The room was lovely and very cutely decorated. The staff were delightful and very helpful. Location was so good for Gare du Nord and most places were easily accessible and not more than 30 minutes walk away. I would highly recommend it.
Disliked: Nothing

Lovely, comfortable room but be...

Liked: The hotel was stylishly upgraded with surprisingly spacious rooms for a Parisian hotel. It is well located between two major train stations, each providing metro line access.
Disliked: Most typical tourist attractions are a 20min metro ride away. We were fine with this and offset it it with proximity to the station for other locations (eg Versailles, the airport). Just a heads up for others planning their trip!

Perfect location.

Liked: The location was perfect for access to Gard du Nord train station. The room had a cool vibe.
Disliked: The room is very small which is tricky for two people with large suitcases.
