A very good 3-star hotel...

Liked: Best location: on a main Street near Rennes train station. Small room but clean and functioning. Water is trong and AC is very good.Breakfast was good.
Disliked: Small room just good for sleeping. Very small elevator.

Great for a short stay...

Liked: Looked for a short stay place near the train station. This hotel was great in that regard. The room layout was great, even if it was small I think it could be manageable for a couple to stay unless they have a lot of luggage. The room also had an AC, welcome addition for these hot days.
Disliked: Internet connection when working was great but I had to repeatedly go through the multi-step login process and some applications like Facebook worked only partially. Really poor experience. Other than that, hotel halways would use some cleaning, and there was some noise as the room was straight next to the elevator and stairwell. Oh, and room replenishments were not that good, ran out of non-decaf coffee. Also, closet was really teeny tiny.

pro-lung cancer hotel. if you...

Disliked: the non-smoking room was filled with cigarette smoke, which is not only false advertising, but a health hazard, especially for my young child. the staff dismissed this fact, and proceeded to make up stories about how we stayed past checkout time (which was proven false), and then they didn't apologize for making assumptions nor for dismissing our concerns. the breakfast was pathetic.
