Great young woman at front...

Liked: The young woman who was at the desk was exceptional. She carried our heavy suitcase up the stairs for us to our corner room. She was very personable, informative, and accommodating. The hotel is fortunate to have her on staff.
Disliked: Our room was in the corner area of the top floor. One had to duck some wooden rafters in the hall to reach the room. We were surprised that with the 3 star rating there was not someone scheduled to be at the front desk at all times. The young woman did send us an email saying if we didn't arrive before 8 in the evening that we would have to call her to arrange for her to be there. Since we do not normally have our cell phone on we did not read that message. Luckily, we arrived before 8!

Liked: Really enjoyed being right next to the cathedral. Tons of shops & restaurants in easy walking distance. Floating gardens also an easy walk. Staff were proficient English speakers and were very friendly.
Disliked: An elevator would have been beneficial. Our room was a bit small, but we didnt spend a lot of time there, so it wasnt a problem. A little cold at night.

Liked: Location was excellent right by the cathedral and walking distance to the shops, lovely restaurants and the river.Great continental breakfast as well
Disliked: Clearer signposting to show where main hotel entrance was and not the annexe.
