Grim

Liked: The shower was hot.
Disliked: We stayed in room 41 on the top floor. It was tiny with a filthy skylight window. Felt like a prison cell. Claustrophobic, tiny toilet which had urine in the bowl on arrival. An unpleasant place to spend time.We were booked in again at the end of our trip, obviously on a no free cancellation booking. Again given room 41. I asked for another room which we got for 10 Euros which I suspect went into the pocket of the receptionist. This room was bigger and had a window! However my bedsheet had what looked like bloodstains which hadn't come out in the wash. There was no remote for the TV but the receptionist was not helpful in resolving this. If returning to Toulouse I would play a little more, there are lots of options in that area and avoid Pastel.

Passable

Liked: The location of the hotel is perfect! Very close to the bus and train station and also city centre. Ideal location for starting to explore the city. They stored my laguage so that was also very handy.
Disliked: This was the smallest room I think I've ever been in. When I opened my suitcase I had no place to stand in the room. The bathrom is plastic and installed, like something you would instal in a trailer. It was so noisy, I could hear every person coming to hotel and walking - the door and the floor are so loud. If you just need a place to crash for a night and you need something relatively cheap (for me, the price should be even lower for what you get), it is a place to stay.

Alright, but dirty. Wouldn’t go...

Liked: I loved the first look! The size of the small apartment as well is very good for the price and the location is good as well. There’s also a mini fridge, microwave and a stove.
Disliked: It was very dirty. The toilet wasn’t cleaned, the floor felt sticky, the walls looked like they’d never been cleaned. We also didn’t like that when we arrived, we were sent to walk another 7 minutes to get to the actual apartment. Very disappointing.

Good location at an affordable...

Liked: It is near the main railway station at Matabiau to where a bus will bring you from the airport. The room had air conditioning although it was cool enough (early July) so you did not have have it on during the night. There was a socket if you needed to charge anything although your charger needs to have a European type plug. Even though the room was small there was still a chair and table. There was a TV with lots of channels but my French was not good enough.
Disliked: The room was small and the shower too but they were still adequate. The shower did not have a tray.
