Disliked: The curtains had weird white stains on them but otherwise good. It like a hostel more than a hotel.

Disliked: Bedbugs Sound of common toilet Common toilet situated next to our room and we can't sleep .They don't eve. want my Id card! Big red flag.

Liked: Good, clean and recently renovated rooms that were close to the train station. The front desk guy was also great!
Disliked: More to a fault of my own but on Sundays you cannot check in between 12:00-18:00

Disappointed our booking at the...

Liked: The hotel was clean and comfortable with friendly staff.
Disliked: We were very disappointed that, although booking in March, on the day of arrival we were told we were switched to another partner hotel. We had booked the National because we had stayed there before and had greatly appreciated its traditional, independent atmosphere and decor and it being very different to a lot of modern hotels. We had valued the personal service we received both on arrival and at the bar at breakfast time. We felt the quai hotel we were brought to instead, whilst perfectly ok for a night, completely lacked character and had no atmosphere. We also were not given a plausible explanation as to why we were moved at such a late stage -and whilst everyone was polite and helpful- we felt we our reservation was not valued.

Liked: Cozy room with a nostalgic flair. Perfect for a few nights. Staff was very friendly.

Liked: Friendly personnel, excellent location, clean room, daily cleaning, comfortable window.
Disliked: Quite a simple breakfast, and the room is also quite small.
