Liked: Good location
Disliked: Room was dirty, overheard guests talking about roaches in their room. Generally a place to avoid.

Great hotel!

Liked: Location! It was ideal to go anywhere. The staff were very friendly and welcoming.
Disliked: The bathroom shower floor was a bit slippery and limited counter space.

Bad

Disliked: I had a terrible experience and would not recommend this hotel. I arrived with a group of friends at 11:30pm and there was no one at the front desk, so we were unable to check into our rooms. We were told by the security guard that the front desk manager had overslept. When she arrived an hour later, she did not say sorry. At this point it was past midnight and we were all exhausted. It took 30 more minutes to assign rooms and when we finally got to our room, one of the toilets didn't work. This was a truly terrible experience. And I I even submitted feedback to the hotel in different forms and never heard back - there was no apology or attempt to make things right.

Disliked: Street Noise, Elevator keys does not work at all, room telephone does not work, tv is not functioning.

Great French Quarter Value

Liked: Fantastic location, and good value!. Clean and quiet, in spite of proximity to Bourbon Street. The staff was generally friendly and accommodating, and there was a lovely courtyard with a small pool, great for decompressing.
Disliked: Hotel is showing its age - little things were worn or broken, with no maintenance on site (they had to call for help from another of their hotels). Neither safe in our family's two rooms were working, but staff graciously moved us to another room. Pool was advertised as heated, but heater was broken, so too cold to use, fixtures mildly damaged, etc. Noticeable, but not concerning.

Liked: We chose Le Marais for its value and location, and it did not disappoint. We were pleasantly surprised how quite it was considering how close it is to Bourbon Street. We highly recommend this hotel.
