Good choice in Marseille

Liked: I’ve made a right choice that Hotel le M is everything to our satisfaction. Room facilities are good. Staff are kind and helpful. Room rate & breakfast are value for money. Location is good to an access to old port and restaurants.

We had lowered our expectations...

Liked: Mediocre breakfast, a few pieces of a few sliced meats (replenished regularly), a few pieces of a few cheeses, (replenished regularly). Boiled eggs, but cut in half and placed randomly on top of the meat and cheese...? Good croissants and pain du chocolate (of course, it's France
Disliked: Terrible, tiny beds, one even sloped. Mattresses slide on frames, frames slide on floor, sheets slide off mattress. Tiny shower (decent pressure and heat). Hallway lights off by default and turn on by motion once you're about half way along. Also as mentioned, breakfast was mediocre at best, and they charge 2eu for coffee after breakfast ends at 10.

Good stay

Liked: The location is great, the street is nice and close to everything. The hotel was very clean and the staff was nice
Disliked: The room we stayed in didn’t have natural light.. the window would open on walls and the room is in the middle of them. The wifi also was very slow

Liked: Fantastic location, nice staff. All around a great experience.
Disliked: The road was a little loud (it was Saturday night) so got woken up by people partying on the street

Liked: We enjoyed a beautiful suite that was equipped with a small kitchenette and a dining table.
Disliked: Cannot think of anything!!
