Classic beauty in an unbeatable...

Liked: The 17th century property built for the Spanish Ambassador was beautiful and very high class. The rooms had lots of character and variety. You couldn't find a better location: literally steps from the train station and right in the center of old town, it was a 5 min walk or less to anything you might want to see or do.
Disliked: Not really a dislike, just a warning: because of the age and change of use of the property, there is a high degree of variation in the rooms. It's not like ordering a bank of idential rooms from an American mega-hotel. Breakfasts were fairly high priced, so we dined out, but ended up paying about the same.

Liked: Didn’t have breakfast. Room and beds were impeccable. Shower was heavenly. Well thought out room design and lots of thoughtful items. Location is unbeatable! Beds were super comfy!

Liked: Convenient location very near Brussels centraal station and close to lots of sights. Lovely quiet haven from the city bustle. Excellent room, comfortable, well appointed and quiet. Pleasant staff.

We would wholeheartedly recommend this...

Liked: A boutique Hotel with a serene atmosphere in a wonderful location
Disliked: Our “double room” was located on the fourth floor, with half-height windows and low ceilings - certainly lacked the charm of other areas in the Hotel
