Very good
Liked: Clean and convenient to the Metro
Disliked: Be prepared for a more European size room. Good if you know what to expect.

Liked: 1. Convenient location, 1 block from metro station, close to pharmacy, supermarket and restaurants 2. Very friendly and helpful hotel staff 3. Cleanliness
Disliked: 1. There is no communication between the room and reception. 2. They forgot to replenish the toilet paper. There was no shortage, but on the last night I was afraid of running out of it LOL I could have asked for it to be replenished, but I always forgot when I arrived at the hotel. Since there is no communication with room service, they always leave it for later.

The hotel is Very central
Liked: Everything was very clean. The hotel was a short walk from Metro and central Montreal. Plenty of nice cafes in vicinity for breakfast.
Disliked: The steep stairs to 3rd floor but we are both in our 70's!!

Excellent location, great deal for...
Liked: Great location, next to the Berri - Uqam subway. The staff is very helpful and since there is no elevator, they helped me go up and down with my luggage. I was also able to leave my luggage until the end of the day, after checking out, for a super low fee of $10.

Would stay here again just...
Liked: Really nice people. Very affordable in a great location. Comfortable bed.
Disliked: The sheets could’ve been cleaner, I found a couple of stains. They won’t change out your towels unless specifically asked, which is ok but something to note.

Felt like a hostel.
Liked: Clean with friendly staff.
Disliked: No AC, not staff at night. Rooms are not sound proof. Our neighbour was singing loudly at 3AM. I knocked on his door but he didn’t stop. I had to call the hotel staff who eventually came to quiet him. Ruined the trip. Felt like a hostel.
