Pretty building and courtyard, lacking...

Liked: The hotel is located in close proximity to Sacre Coeur and makes it easy to walk around Montmartre. The room itself was extremely large by Paris standards making it easy to unpack, repack and move about. The pool and sauna are including in the booking and offered a nice wellness reprieve from the city. The restaurant offers a beautiful courtyard setting with good dining options.
Disliked: Within the 3 hours after checking in, I had an employee enter my room twice. The first time I was using the toilet, and the second time I was nude, in the shower. As a solo, female traveler I found this unacceptable and rather jarring. Upon notifying reception, they only explained 'why' this happened-- apparently a miscommunication and the employee wanting to check my towels? Keeping in mind I had just checked in and wouldn't require this type of service so soon, I did not find this a sufficient resolution or compensation for being invaded upon and startled. Moving forward they recommended I indicate "do not disturb". It's certainly not what I would expect from a "5-star" hotel, though this felt more like a 4-star (or below) in terms of customer service and staples like the mattress, pillows and linens. Considering the investment I made to spend one night here specifically to relax and use their pool and sauna facilities, which I stated upon check in, I cannot recommend this hotel and I would not return.
