Liked: Hotel employee at the front desk was beyond accommodating.
Disliked: No price break for construction in progress

Liked: Location near the Metro.
Disliked: A pretty noisy place on main street.

the beds were for children, smaller than twin beds, super uber small rooms. No other rooms available, all are the same now, the staff was super nice but they could not control the mess, twice they were left trying to get the sliding entrance to work while a group of us and other patrons stood outside in the rain. The drilling and banging started before 8 so we couldn't get rest, it was awful. The only saving grace was the front desk staff, they tried to make the best of a bad situation, the person in charge, a lady wouldn't speak to us in English, mind you we were in Paris, but the rest of the staff made an effort, even the cleaning staff were friendlier.

Liked: location was excellent, everything with in a stones throw.
Disliked: it was very unfortunate that they and you did not tell us this was one of those secret specials because they were in full renovation. The noise was deafening. Twice the lobby door did not open and we stood out in rain. It was bad.

Find another hotel if you can. Consider it only as a last resort.

Liked: Nothing matched description. Location not at walking distance to Gare du Lyon, especially with luggage. Star rating of 3 is deceptive. It is 1 star at best
Disliked: WiFi did not work on 3rd floor. I was told to use it in the lobb y. Room had no AC, clock radio, coffee maker or soap. Room was tiny, carpet was old and ripped (tripping hazard). I was told I can get Ac room if I stayed 2nd night. Far from station. AVOID!
