Disliked: No airconditioning in room and property is located in a very noisy area.

Good value overnight accommodation.
Liked: Convenient to central Reims. Very reasonably priced.
Disliked: Quite a lot of stairs which wasn’t really a problem for us.

Cant beat the location and...
Liked: Location : excellent, plenty of food and drinking options nearby. Nice local pub also. Restaurant below had nice tap beers and sold champagne if you prefer not to venture far. Chandon Moet imperial brut 75cl bottle was at 60 euro, not crazy markup. Room : Queen bed was comfortable. Showers hot water, faucet water was a bit low pressure. No A/C so summer month might be hot unless you only sleep there in evening. Check-in is via the restaurant below that managed the small hotel. No elevator. Key card for room and hotel entrance (safe).Friendly staff.
Disliked: Creaky stairs , since there is no elevator. For those that are sensitive sleeper that could be an issue. Not wheelchair friendly or for elders that cant handle up to 4 flights of stairs. Minor : Only had to pay an additional 4 euro for 4 guests that was not part of booking fee. Probably city tax for guest per person. This should just be included but probably common that guest must pay city tax separately.

Extremely disappointed as the accommodation...
Liked: The location of the place is situated close to the main tourist area, with sites seen from the windowThe room was extremely sparse, which took economy class to a lower level. The beds creaked and one of the window shutters was broken. There was no lift and access by staircase to room was narrow and very steep.
Disliked: You could do an awful lot better. Maybe someone from Booking.com should go and have a secret visit.

A fair room for the...
Liked: This hotel is on the most prominent street for bars and restaurants in Reims. The room I stayed in was comfortable once I reached it.
Disliked: The hotel is on a pedestrianised street. You cannot drive to anywhere near it. There is an underground car park (for €17 overnight) that is 5 minutes walk away. This pedestrianisation seems to be a recent thing. My sat nav had no clue, despite a recent update, and it kept trying to direct me into blocked-off streets or along streets that are now bus-only. Many people seemed to be having the same problems, and on a Saturday afternoon (September 2024), the town was largely gridlocked, so there was ample opportunity to consult a map whilst sitting in stationary traffic. The room itself is on the 4th floor (3rd floor in UK terms) up steep flights of stairs with no lift available - hence impossible for those with mobility issues, and not easy with luggage even for the able-bodied. I would advise spending the €17 unavoidable parking charge on a more expensive (and probably more easily accessible) hotel room elsewhere in town.
