No frills, simple hotel for...

Liked: Good location with nice cafes around walking distance.
Disliked: Nothing much. Except that in the morning, duty manager kick a fuss about us taking complimentary coffee from the breakfast area and said we can only get this after breakfast time if we didn’t sign up for breakfast , which I felt is unnecessary. They could have place a simple coffee corner outside the restaurant if this is the case.

Liked: I had an incredible one-night stay at the Hotel Langlois! Perfectly located in the 9th eme, I got to and from the hotel each day with no issues. Their bag storage is secure and perfect, and the hotel staff is incredible. They even gave me a free room upgrade! 10/10 would stay here again, and soon!
Disliked: No notes :)

Liked: Charming in a way chain hotels can never be. Wonderful front of house staff who were so kind and helpful.
Disliked: Very little.

Liked: The rooms were clean and had an old fashioned charm. The location was great.
Disliked: Upon arrival the staff said that we hadn’t paid. I showed the payment in my account and called my credit card and they verified the payment. The staff kept saying it wasn’t paid but they would look into it the next day. They never got back to us and that made our stay kind of awkward not knowing how this would end up. At the end we were charged additional taxes which I would have liked for o have been included in the price. All and all it was kind of expensive without the comfort of knowing that we could stay without problems. It would have been nice and put us at ease to know that they did receive the payment and not charge extra at the end.

Liked: The bed was comfortable and the room was spacious
Disliked: Many people rated this hotel highly based on it being quaint and charming and the welcome they received. It didn't live up to my expectationsWe didn't receive any great welcome. The sockets in the bedroom are all old ones down on the skirting board. We had to plug the kettle in on the floor.The breakfast was disappointing compared to other hotels and a piece of cake I took had mould on it. I gave it to the lady serving but she didn't take away the other slices. The breakfast room is very small.
