Liked: Location is perfect for hikes and wine tasting. The hotel also has quite good restaurant. The host is very friendly and helpful, we even got some nice surprise for Easter: some chocolate eggs hidden in the garden

Disliked: The room was too cold when we got there. Also, the heater never got up to temperature, my family and I were freezing the whole night. Please preheat the room if possible, so that the guest are not freezing during their stay. Thank you.

Desired a quiet setting out...

Liked: Nice guest house set along side of a small river. Fell asleep to the sound of the river each night. The guest house served a wonderful dinner during our stay and had a respectable breakfast buffet available in the morning. Trier was an easy car ride to visit the many historic Roman remains. The proprietor was very attentive and helpful. Well worth the drive to stay at Hotel Landgasthof Simon.
Disliked: Be aware there is no elevator, so bags must be carried upstairs to the guest rooms.

Liked: They are very nice happy coworkers with warm smiles, and look like they love their jobs. Good breakfast every morning. That makes guests feel at home.The rooms were surprisingly big. Wi/Fi is working very well too.
