Liked: Staff was great. Very kind and pleasant.
Disliked: My bedroom was one of the smallest I have ever seen in a 4 star hotel. No air conditioning, and very basic. More like an average 3 star Hotel.

Great stay! Clean! And nice...

Liked: Stay in Room 54, The hotel staff were extremely nice and attentive and catered to our needs, being Vegetarian they made suitable adjustments to the menu for us during our stay also!
Disliked: Nothing! Just as a caution there is a fair amount of stairs to get to reception if you use the main entrance.

Fantastic Stay - Highly Recommended

Liked: The size of the room was excellent, and the views from the room and balconies were stunning. I booked the hotel as half board; the meals were lovely, very well presented, and I was given a new menu every day! The food was real restaurant quality. The hotel held a Gala evening ( sit down meal with several courses), and the staff were dressed in Dirndl dresses and lederhosen outfits. Luckily I had packed my dirndl in the suitcase so I wore mine to the event. I don't know how often the hotel holds Gala evenings; I may have just been fortunate enough to be staying there at the right time that they had chosen to hold one.The staff were also really nice and spoke English, Italian and German. The location was ideal for me as the hotel was a few minutes' walk to a relatives house and relatively close to Appiano town centre. One last thing I found quite amusing was that every day my room was cleaned, the member of staff created different shapes with the duvet. I found it quite intriguing to see what new shape I'd find on return to my room. I really enjoyed my stay at the Lambrechtshof and will definitely come again!
Disliked: There was no small fridge in the room. I would have liked to have kept a few bottles of water to keep cool in there as it was August and very hot. It was a bit inconvenient to have to buy water from the bar, which went warm quite quickly.
