A lovely unique hotel, shame...

Liked: Beautiful building.Bed was very comfy.Friendly reception staff.Good self service breakfast.Room with bath was lovely and bright.Location was good for transport services and walking into the centre.
Disliked: Surrounding area was grim.We booked a room with a balcony, but were given one with a bath. Reception apologised as we weren't sent an email asking for our preference. Fortunately a room with a balcony was available and we were able to move when we came back later that afternoon.Room with balcony was very dark.

Liked: Staff were very attentive and friendly
Disliked: Not having a door on the shower, and the sink being in front of the shower, just took longer to get going when going out as trying to be respectful when my daughter was showering and staying clear of that area

Liked: Location to train staion is greatA reasonable walk into the centre (longer than thought).
