Hotel La Parizienne By Elegancia

Liked: Close to metro.
Disliked: Street noise, as it is on a major road. Better window glazing would help. Hotel seemed to be short staffed. Front desk personnel had to be roused from a nap to help us one afternoon. One morning there was nobody to clean off tables nor replenish breakfast. Breakfast was basic with little selection.

Liked: The location was very good, nice lively area and close to bus and metro stations. The hotel decor is very nice, bed and pillows very comfortable.
Disliked: The room was very small, but for Paris, this is normal. The location more than makes up for that

Wonderful Paris in Springtime

Liked: Hotel la Parizienne is a small hotel in a superb 6th district Paris location. Beaucoup restaurants catering to any taste are all around and transportation of any type at your doorstep. It is within walking to almost any Paris landmark if you like to stroll and take in the culture. Every block has glorious floral or bakery or boutique showcasings. Our room on the 5th floor (teeny, yes teeeeeny elevator) looked out on Bd. du Montparnasse with a view of Paris daily life. The room was spacious with a modern bathroom large in size. Comfortable bed. We loved it.
Disliked: Lighting in the hallway areas is dim and on some type of automatic sensors that we felt didn't always work properly.
