Liked: The breakfast was tasty. It was nice to spend the evening in the downstairs living room and listen to LPs. The room was quiet and there was no noise from the street, the staircase or downstairs, even at night. The staff was friendly.
Disliked: The only downside was that the hotel had problems with hot water during the weekend. The problem was fixed the morning of our departure. The hotel managed to surprise us positively by paying us a refund for the room price on their own initiative.

A beautiful, cozy boutique hotel...

Liked: The staff was wonderful - friendly, helpful, kind, and courteous. The hotel itself is gorgeous while not being overly formal. I loved the deep bronze color of the lobby and the cool lighting. I also loved that every time we arrived, we were greeted by the scent of fleur de orange! It was lovely to come back to a tidied room after a long day out. The heated floors in the bathroom were a treat. We also appreciated the carbon filtered water. The hotel was immaculately clean.
Disliked: I'm not a fan of neon or fluorescent lights, so I didn't like the decorative lighting along one wall in our room. We ended up covering them with scarves and it wasn't a problem at all. The bed was comfortable but a bit firm for my liking (but I do like a plush bed!). That was it - everything else was wonderful.
