Liked: My room was beautiful, the view was amazing and the balcony was great. I love the monkeypod lounge I do think it should be open a little later though.
Disliked: There should be more double queen rooms with the tub and **the floors were FILTHY* Completely made my white socks black. I am not sure what they are using to clean them but they are not cleaning them well. I even had someone come and mop when I was gone, but when I got back the floors were sticky and still black. They need scrubbed and deep clean. This is a huge deal for the quality and how much the room was.

A great winter escape to...

Liked: Centrally located in Waikiki Beach, La Croix is handy to everything you might need. Friendly, courteous staff ensured our stay was relaxing. Our penthouse room also provided access to the Monkeypod which is an area that supplied pastries, fruit, water, sodas and coffee. Also the “Meet the Manager” nights were an added bonus with additional snacks and alcoholic drinks being provided.
Disliked: The king size bed was great but just a little too firm for us.

Disliked: Excessive Charge to park for paying tenants. no options for free parking within a mile walk thus tenants have practically no recourse than to pay. As a result the true nightly cost is much higher than advertised, bait and switch is the name of the game. Does not adhere to cancellation policy posted on Booking.com. Booking states a one night penalty but the hotel will require full payment for the WHOLE stay once the stay begins. Elevators are EXTREMELY slow and difficult to operate even once you figure out how to operate them. Key card only allows the rider to go to their floor and the lobby but mine kept dumping me out on the wrong floor and would not allow access to the right floor until I got out, called another elevator, waited, and got back in. Staff is not helpful beyond the front desk. Asked the a member of the cleaning staff a question and found out that they did not speak even rudimentary English.

Helpful staff and clean hotel!

Liked: The staff are very helpful and did a great job cleaning our room. The main areas and pool were clean too.
Disliked: The hotel is older but updated. Showers instead of a tub for some people would be great.
