Liked: It looked good from outside, the entrance hall and reception was good, the location was good.But that’s it…… it was the worst hotel room we have ever stayed in. The bed itself was ok, but the bedding was shedding some kind of tissue.The carpet was disgusting worn and filthy. We didn’t want to even stand on it.The room was completely outdated and very very tired. The bathroom was that old and unpleasant that they should shut this hotel down. The towels were grey and dingy they were that old, they were supposed to be white.No decent lighting to get ready. We only stayed because we had driven 500 miles and just needed a sleep and we were too tired to even complain. Yes the room was quite cheap, and we thought we don’t mind basic as we just needed a bed for the night. But this hotel should be closed down, it is way below any normal standard.

Better than expected.

Liked: When we checked in, the lady at the reception was very kind and helpful. Given the negative reviews, we thought it might've been a bummer, but it was much better than we expected. For this price-quality I'd highly recommend!
Disliked: The elevator that went to our floor could only hold 100kg so we took the stairs most of the time.The rooms are very noisy but nothing we stayed awake from or woke us up.

Good

Liked: The beds are amazing, slept really well. Very good breakfast on offer and in a perfect location to the centre of Reims, everything we did was in walking distance too!
Disliked: There are buzzing noises and a weird noise, I think it's the thermostat, once every 10 minutes or so. Not enough to keep up at night, but you do notice it. A little tired interior in the rooms too.

Liked: Very friendly staff with good English. Nice room, good views over a very typical French street. Close to the centre for the Cathedral and bus ride to the Basilica.
Disliked: The shower spigot needed attention.

Great location for a visit...

Liked: Great location and a comfy bed. Decent breakfast
Disliked: Bit tired but nowhere near as bad as many others have commented.
