Liked: INCREDIBLE, INCREDIBLE staff! Very friendly and accommodating. The room was small but very cozy and had everything necessary for a 5 night stay. Comfy bed and great bathroom! The restaurant downstairs is delicious and gets quite busy so make a reservation if you're planning to eat in. GREAT location, not overly touristy you get a real sense of the local culture and lifestyle. Very walkable to lots of places of interest. Great value would definitely stay here again!
Disliked: Nothing, I loved the entire experience.

Perfect balance of luxury and...
Liked: Amazing hotel room, clean and with all the amenities one could ask for (we stayed in the penthouse suite, which was quite affordable for being so luxurious). The location is very close to many restaurants and shopping within walking, but also close to the Sherbrooke Metro for further travel. Made it very easy to explore Montréal with using public transit. What really makes this hotel special is the outstanding staff; always willing to help and so friendly and accommodating. They take care of your luggage and inspect the room again before you enter. Everything was pristine!
Disliked: They inform you clearly there is no elevator. While it’s not a huge problem as there’s four floors max, it can be a challenge for certain people. Again the staff take care of your luggage though so they really help make up for it. Also there is no onsite parking, they offer valet services but there is also a garage very close to hotel on Rue Berri so again not a dealbreaker all, just something to keep in mind.

Excellent service in both the...
Liked: The people at this hotel and also the restaurant work very hard to make you feel at home and are always asking if you need anything and offering coffee. The cleaning staff is also very thorough and hard working. Le Nil Bleu which is the associated restaurant serves high quality Ethiopian Cuisine. The flavors brought back the good memories of my time in East Africa in neighboring Sudan, and they have full understanding of the challenges that nations face in that part of the world. They also have umbrellas available for clients in rainy weather. They are also ready with suggestions on how to make your daily adventures run smoothly with local transit options.
Disliked: Some people may complain about the lack of elevators at the property, but the hotel offers assistance 24/7 to move your bag up and down the stairs. I certainly didn't mind as honestly I can use the exercise that going up and down stairs provides. I found the TV a little difficult to figure out, but really don't spend much time watching.

Great hotel
Liked: I was greeted at the door by Adam, who was very friendly. The room was beautiful and very comfortable. There are plenty of great little shops and restaurants close to the hotel. I felt very safe in my room and when I walked back to the hotel by myself after dark. This was one of my favorite places to stay in. I would definitely recommend it!

Very Comfortable stay
Liked: I loved the full suite of amenities (microwave, fridge, kitchenette) and the location. Bathtub was comfortably big and water pressure was good.
Disliked: Not a fan of the type of blankets on the bed.
