Disappointing

Liked: The location and prev visits
Disliked: My room clearly had not been serviced properly before arrival. I found a wet towel behind bathroom door. I told front desk and they did nothing. It was not removed ! Also the aircon was not on or working in my room. I froze.

V good hotel stay

Liked: Nice design, cozy rooms, great location
Disliked: No bench or furniture in bathroom to manage my clothes while showering

A lovely cosy historical hotel...

Liked: Welcoming hotel foyer with open fire and comfortable lounge area. Helpful reception staff. Large, tastefully decorated, spotlessly clean bedrooms, well appointed bathroom. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Disliked: The bar and restaurant was lacking in atmosphere, or menu range. Overpriced bar snacks, and overpriced breakfast which had to be ordered at the bar, due to no table service. Rather chilly room at breakfast in winter.
