Liked: When I arrived the system had overbooked the place, but the very helpful lady took me to the next gasthaus just round the corner which also was very good. Walked back and had an excellent meal in the restaurant. Thank you.

A very enjoyable stay for...

Liked: The choice for breakfast was very good and we all found plenty to our liking. The countryside location was convenient to visit Sinsheim museum. Our evening meal in a wine cask was memorable.

Liked: Bedroom was very spacious and comfortable. Restaurant areas with wine barrel booths and old woodworking tools were both unusual and genius. Breakfast was excellent value. Overall a great stay.
Disliked: Not being able to check-in before 4pm was a nuisance but not a deal breaker.

Good hotel and restaurant .......

Liked: This was a last minute booking due to a bad experience with a hotel in a nearby village - but a much better option. Pleasant small hotel with an interesting twist - the restaurant dining booths were huge wine barrels. Very friendly and helpful staff, spacious room with a good bed. No cleanliness issues. Good evening menu in English with a choice of wines (many home produced). Adequate breakfast - the lady made me very nice scrambled eggs and bacon in addition to the buffet options. Free car parking. Ideally located for the Sinsheim Tecknik Museum.
Disliked: Slight traffic noise but not intrusive. Quiet between 2300 hrs > 0700 hrs.
