Liked: Great location, and very quiet considering it is in the centre of town. Free coffee was a nice touch.
Disliked: Staff were not hugely knowledgable on the area but were very helpful and tried their best. There was a group of men at the hotel who were very loud too.

Disliked: the only negative is in my room anyway - was strangely the toilet was very high up! I am a tall person with long legs and I still could Not touch the floor when sitting!

Liked: The location of this hotel is outstanding. It's an interesting building with comfortable rooms.
Disliked: There is no drop off point for people with cars so this is more suited to other travellers. Although a car park is available it's difficult to see how that works in practice without being able to visit reception first. If you have a non standard sized car you will need to park half a mile away. The hotel was filtered for parking before booking. We were kept waiting at reception for more than 30 minutes as it was unattended and the phone number provided went unanswered.

A Brief overnight stay, a...

Liked: I loved the little space near reception where I could wait until check in with coffee and orange, lemon and mint water. It was relaxing and refreshing on a hot day. The staff on arrival were lovely, and I could store my luggage until check in. They kindly recommended ordering an uber as the best way to catch my early morning train, which worked really well.
Disliked: The room was quite dark and the view was to a small back area of other building windows and escape stairs, not very nice for Bordeaux. I paid extra for a larger double room, but even that was quite small.
