Liked: Close to the city centre
Disliked: The toilet leaked, so you constantly heard water pouring while you try sleep. The area is also a popular hangout for youth with loud music.

Disliked: Bed was tiny, little bit outdated feel

A lot of potential, but...

Liked: Good staff, excellent location to downtown, sweets in the room
Disliked: Overall it's a place that needs money to modernise the place.There's an air conditioner in the room, but no remote (apparently none of the rooms have the remote). The showerhead in the bath is very low, as the floor of the bathtub is quite high, making it uncomfortable to shower, even when having it set to the highest level (with 1,74m, I'm by no means a giant). The showerhead came up to my neck instead of overhead to let water flow onto me over head. Having the bath flooring so high from the actual floor makes it prone to have slip accidents when stepping out (while a bath mat would be a very cheap investment to improve the overall stay). The bed is very hard with gigantic pillows, which do not help make sleeping comfortable. Better to sleep without it in my opinion. Water kettle hasn't been descaled in a long time, as white, murky water came out after boiling water in it. The elevator is also creaking and whining a lot, making it seem straight out of a horror movie.All in all, don't expect too much except for a place to sleep and freshen up. It really needs a lot of love to bring out its true potential.

Overall the hotel is good...

Liked: Close to everything train station restaurants and the dome
Disliked: The toilet and the sink there’s no flush and water

Liked: The hostel is in an excellent location, a few minutes from the train station and the cathedral.
Disliked: The toilet was placed on the side of the sanitary block in such a way that you had to retract under the sink if you wanted to sit on it. It is very cramped and uncomfortable.

Superb

Liked: When technical issues arose, they did their best to make me happy. They were kind and supplied me with beer and peanuts.The bathroom was pretty with a huge tub and there was a fan in the room because it was the summer (mandatory)
Disliked: I paid $315 Canadian a night which is bonkers. My tv didn't work the first night, but I was very understanding to their situation. They gave me beer and peanuts and I was satisfied. My night two, it was replaced and I was happy.It could use with a deep cleaning.
