Exceptional

Liked: I had a wonderful experience at Congress Hotel Chemnitz. The location is unbeatable—right in the city center with easy access to everything. The breakfast was absolutely fantastic, with a wide variety of fresh and delicious options to start the day right. What made the stay even more special was the staff—everyone was so kind, professional, and genuinely welcoming. Their friendliness added a personal touch that really stood out. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Chemnitz!
Disliked: While the rooms don’t have air conditioning, it wasn’t a big issue for me. The hotel provides fans free of charge upon request at the reception, which was a thoughtful touch and worked perfectly for a comfortable night’s sleep.

We really enjoyed staying in...

Liked: We had a small suite, with a bedroom and a living room and two bathrooms. It looked as if it had been made from what would originally have been two very small rooms, but was quite generous and comfortable as it was.
Disliked: The breakfast room was marvellous, on the top storey of the building with a grand view of the city, but the breakfast itself was rather average. Plenty of stuff but nothing really good or interesting.

Good hotel in the city...

Liked: The location is very good, in the city center close to most sights. The hotel is the highest building in the city, so it is very easy to find. Rooms have nice views, espceially closer to the top. The restaurant at the 26th floor have the best views. The room was not very large but comfortable. I arrived early but got a room before the official check-in time, which was nice.
Disliked: They offer luggage storage, but it seems not perfectly safe. You don't get a reciept, but they give you access to a room, where you put in and take out the luggage yourself. I would not leave any valuables there.

Disliked: The door to the room is awkward. There is no air conditioning. I have to borrow fan.
