Disliked: the extremely high pet fee - $150 for one night, and the headache of having to drop my dog at someone's house for a few hours because he wasn't allowed to stay in the room alone...

So little for such a...

Liked: Comfortable bed. Simple but recent installation
Disliked: The roadside location makes the hotel noisy and not really interesting in relation to its location. Requires a car to do everything. No services on site, the rooms are minimalist and it is cold - some will find this great, I am not bothered by this except when I am asked $500 per night. The pool is very small and again the roadside location must not make the experience memorable. We do not know anything about it because it was closed. No breakfast and no staff after 11pm. Again, for $150 it is fine, for $500 it is unacceptable.

Great stay discovering Malibu

Liked: Lots of good little touches in the room and available food and extras eg they were very happy to do some washing for a good price. Unlimited free water and lovely games available in reception. Great pool area. Comfortable bed for us and bunks for the kids. Big room. Perfect
