Clean basic hotel with comfy...

Liked: Clean hotel with comfortable beds and a great location next to LAX. The food for breakfast and dinner was great.
Disliked: Free coffee in the morning does not include tea.

Employee strike due to low...

Disliked: Hotel had a massive employee strike all morning I was there. They had trumpets and drums. I asked them what was going on and apparently the hotel wasn't paying them the new minimum agreed by hotels close to LAX.TERRIBLE experience altogether. Wanted to rest before a long flight back home and instead I was up 8am with the noise.

Well-located, modern design hotel with...

Liked: The rooms were spacious, clean and nicely decorated. The staff were friendly, valet was great and the restaurant had good food!
Disliked: Although the rooms were lovely, they were a little sparse. It would have been good to have water and snacks in the room (as opposed to in the lobby). Slippers would have been welcome too!

If they tell you, they...

Liked: The location was perfect for visiting my daughter at Loyola Mary Mountain University.
Disliked: There was a long wait for breakfast and then they messed up my order. They told me they were going to refund the cost of the breakfast from my bill, but they never did.
