Liked: Property was nice; the power was out, but was not their fault. They handled it very well!
Disliked: Property was nice, but you can hear other people from your room very easily.

Beautiful with street noise and...

Liked: Beautiful looking property. Lovely rooms. Record players in the rooms and coffee in the morning were wonderful. Welcome cocktail was a treat! Room was always beautifully clean.
Disliked: The noise from the main road was intense. Better glazing in the street adjacent windows is definitely needed. We wanted to love the place but sometimes it felt a little faulty towers. Breakfast ran out of key items (eg toast or bacon) on 2 of the 3 mornings we were there and there are only 3 dishes on the breakfast menu to plan for! The place was used for a photo shoot with about 7 people involved. They left all their gear, and mess in the middle of the property from breakfast time until late and made us feel in the way. Loud and lengthy tours at the pool by prospective wedding hirers did not respect current guests who were silently relaxing by the pool and had to listen to 10 minute spiel on repeat. While a couple of staff members were really great (at least two of the bartenders were so lovely and great at their job) some staff (especially at breakfast) seemed totally overwhelmed and very few seemed to know much about hospitality. If this was a cheap stay without a resort fee, all this would be par for the course, but it is pricey. I’d suggest dropping the resort fee and cutting the price by $100 a night or upping the service level and glazing.

Liked: Everything was great!
Disliked: Our air conditioner didn’t work. And the lighting in the rooms is SO DARK. wouldn’t recommend if you’re needing to get ready in the evening to go out somewhere. We could not get over how dark it was. I was using my phone light. Great for ambiance but terrible for practicality

Sweet Hotel but not worth...

Liked: Very nice and helpful, friendly staff.The property is well kept and offers sweet, charming details, like an old fashioned record player in the room. Fresh coffee and milk are being delivered to your room door in the morning. Attentive details, that make the hotel unique.
Disliked: Rooms are rather small, we stayed for one night only, so it didn´t really matter but if we had planned this as a vacation, I would have not appreciated it at all.Location of the hotel is right by the main road, still the views of the beach are pretty, but even with all windows closed traffic is definitely disturbing as it can be heard all night and it affects a good night´s sleep.Considering the price we would have expected more (or better less noise...)
