Disappointing service effort.

Liked: Nice place, very good location.
Disliked: The espresso machine near the reception required 4 zloty in coins. I didn't have Polish currency at the time. The staff at the reception was unable to help me. I suggested putting it on my bill. But I had to leave without coffee. Just a bit strange in terms of effort. What also odd is the reception set up itself. The receptionists seem to cower behind a high desk, you can't see them until you try to catch their eye. Felt very unwelcoming.My room was not made up on the first day of my two-night stay. Everything else was fine.

Silverfish - but nice room

Liked: Nice room and great location
Disliked: We found silverfish on our bed when we came. The staff couldn’t get us a new room, but they cleaned it after the first day.

Liked: The price is great value, location is central , lovely room and the staff are very friendly .
Disliked: I would prefer a shower door.

Liked: Location not bad, 5 mins walk to historic city centre. Did not have breakfast at the hotel.
Disliked: Saucer was dirty with coffee on arrival, glasses had not been washed properly either, we returned one glass to the reception but it was not replaced. We asked for the room to be made up and towels to be changed daily but they did not do this on one day (you actually have to ask for this to be done) even though we were staying for more than 3 nights. Cups were not cleaned and tea/coffee was not replenished and room was not made up on this day either.

To sum it up: good...

Liked: Friendly stuff, interior design and location.
Disliked: Close to railway and construction.We have ordered 1 big bed but got 2 connected single beds, that made our sleep there quite uncomfortable
