Hotel Indigo San Diego - Gaslamp Quarter By IHG

We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar during our stay, and our bartender/server (I think his name was Chris) was EXCELLENT. However, once more people started to arrive, we felt very sorry for him as he was working the bar and tables completely alone and didn't have help. Still he was gracious, patient and polite - more than I can say for some of the patrons.

Liked: Loved the room decor; comfortable beds; very clean and comfortable overall.
Disliked: My traveling companion noticed a foul odor in the lobby. Other than that, everything was great.

Comfortable, spacious room, great bed...

Liked: This hotel is in walking distance to the convention center and convenient to a grocery, drug store and Gas Lamp Quarter restaurants.
Disliked: If you go during baseball season, you may be able to see the stadium from your room and you can certainly hear the excitement. This is fine for me, but the concert in the stadium one night - not so much.

Great location, but overpriced.

Liked: Great location, nice rooftop bar/restaurant. nice sized room with a nice chair and ottoman. fast elevators.
Disliked: Room was not well soundproofed, you could hear the plumbing, the elevators and the surrounding rooms.
