Natalie, Pasadena, visiting Balboa Theatre

We enjoyed dinner and drinks at the rooftop bar during our stay, and our bartender/server (I think his name was Chris) was EXCELLENT. However, once more people started to arrive, we felt very sorry for him as he was working the bar and tables completely alone and didn't have help. Still he was gracious, patient and polite - more than I can say for some of the patrons.

Liked: Loved the room decor; comfortable beds; very clean and comfortable overall.
Disliked: My traveling companion noticed a foul odor in the lobby. Other than that, everything was great.

I would recommend

Liked: It was walking distance to everything. I was there for games at PETCO Park the walk was only 5 minutes.
Disliked: The AC in my room was not working correctly 2s it would get way hot but it was fixed as soon as I mentioned it.
