Avoid this place – dishonest...

Liked: The location is convenient and the beds are comfortable. Unfortunately, that is far outweighed by the way the hotel treats its guests regarding deposits.
Disliked: The hotel has still not returned my $400 deposit. According to Booking, the refund should have been made within 7 days after check-out. First they claimed it was 7 business days, then changed it to 2 weeks. 19 days have now passed since check-out. I have neither the money nor any proof that the transfer was made. Three days ago, I asked for written confirmation of the transaction – no reply. The hotel only blames my bank, but my bank confirmed no payment was ever received. This is dishonest and unacceptable behavior, and travelers deserve to be warned.

Liked: Rooms were super cute and clean. The Dutch-themed decor was both modern and traditional at the same time. The staff were friendly and very helpful. Subway station adjacent to the hotel entry. Very quiet room and beds were perfectly firm. We will be back!!! Had a nice view of the historically significant Trinity Church. 9-11 Memorial only a few easy blocks away.

Great value, comfortable, quiet oasis...

Liked: Unique, boutique-like feel. Safe, secure, accommodating, with a super friendly & helpful staff. Very good restaurant located right in the hotel. Good for a meal or just a place to relax with a drink at the end of a sightseeing day. Room was surprisingly large for NYC & had a comfortable bed with a beautifully decorated bathroom. Although there was some street construction going on (typical for NYC) we never heard a sound once we were in our room. You can’t go wrong in choosing the Hotel Indigo NYC Financial District NYC!
Disliked: One morning, people appeared to be holding a meeting at the long table in the reception/check-in area. Which seemed odd & they took over most of the seating at that time. I would try to discourage this if at all possible.

Great location. Great nice. Great...

Liked: Close to the train. Room was very nice. Restaurant is the hotel was nice for a late dinner and drink.
Disliked: There was nothing that I didn't like. The cost to Uber from LaGuardia but that is not the hotel's issue. Enjoyed it.
