I was very disappointed to...
Liked: I arrived at the property at 11:30pm to be told it was overbooked and my room was not available. I was told I would be transferred to a hotel on the same street (Hotel Ellen). The hotel was inferior and I was given a room which did not match the one I paid for at Hotel Indigo.
Disliked: I wasn’t given the room I had reserved as the hotel had been overbooked. I was transferred to an inferior hotel on the same street after arriving. As it was 11:30pm, I had no further options and no real time to consider alternatives. This was a really disappointing experience.

Passable
Liked: The Breakfast was great, wonderful selection. The room itself was large (premium queen) Location is good, across the road from Earls Court station.Short walk to Kensington high street etc
Disliked: We had a basement room (609) which was dark and right next to the laundry- I asked to move but they were fully booked. It felt as if we were sleeping in a bunker, I really don't like hotel rooms without proper windows/some sort of view.It was mouldy, dusty - dust everywhere! Bed was big but very uncomfortable. Only food avaliable was bar snacks - I travelled with my 5 year old and couldn't go out so I was relying on something nice to eat in the restaurant in the evening. Cheese fries, although great were not really cutting it.

Overall good
Liked: Comfortable bed, quiet room, good bed linen change. Excellent breakfast and friendly efficient staf
Disliked: I was surprised to find that the restaurant only served bar snacks on Saturday and Sunday evenings. I was a solo lady traveller with a tiring itinerary visiting a relative in hospital and so looking forward to eating at the hotel. It meant walking to find restaurants which was not a comfortable experience

Nice Place Shame about the...
Liked: So the room was big and well decorated for London standards, the bathroom large and a decent size shower compared to our next hotel. Breakfast which was included in our stay was amazing and the best part of our stay and the dining room bar area was excellent. I would have ticked stay again if it had not been for the ridiculous price tag we were offered if we stayed a second night, the price went from $600 to $800 Australian dollars and the limited decent restaurants around Earls Court the most decent was in the hotel itself unless you walked miles like we did down to Chelsea.
Disliked: 1. Basement room after paying a premium price 2. Air-conditioning unit rattled so we ended up leaving it off so we could sleep and it was a very hot night and we were to scared to leave the window open as we were ground level so we roasted pretty much.3. I think the price of this hotel for Earls Court area which really isn't that flash anymore we ended up walking in Chelsea area to get a decent restaurant. Stayed in a much cheaper hotel near Paddington and found some wonderful trendy places will stay there next time. 4. The price tag was ridiculous $800 Aus Dollar for a weekday rate.
