Hotel Indigo Liverpool

A great place for a weekend away like we had, or for business; rooms are set out nice; bed comfortable and very quiet.

Liked: Professional, high quality surroundings.

Hotel and staff great. Breakfast was the best we have ever had. Close to everything we wanted to see in Liverpool. Definitely will come back and will recommend this hotel.

A fantastic hotel

Liked: Excellent breakfast with plenty of choice. Proximity to Liverpool city centre and the Docks was fantastic. Very friendly and helpful staff.
Disliked: Only one criticism… upon checking out we were informed by reception that there was no photograph taken of our car having entered the recommended car park (NCP Capital near by) and consequently the hotel could not offer us the subsidised parking rate. This may well be a fault on the NCP system but through no fault of our own we could not take advantage of the subsidised parking rates which were advertised by the hotel and was a major consideration of us opting for this hotel. A shame the hotel couldn’t sort this out and subsequently put a bit of a dampener on an otherwise fantastic short break in hotel Indigo.

Liked: Room clean Location excellent
Disliked: There was no telephone in room. Requested three times and nothing sorted. Wanted room service and could not order from room Had to go down in person then extra charge for delivery to room.!!Had breakfast in hotel on last morning. Staff never asked if everything was OK. Had to ask for serviettes milk and butter. Poached egg was hard boiled. Appearance looked like breakfast had been stood under heat lamp. Not great for a Marco Pierre white restaurant. Would stay again but not eat at hotel

Good location within easy walking...

Liked: The staff in this hotel are a huge asset. They are not only friendly and welcoming, but are extremely knowledgeable about the local area and beyond.
Disliked: The design of the shower - despite the greatest care, the floor needed mopping up on several occasions.

Exceptional

Lovely hotel close to centre.

Liked: Lovely Hotel about 10 minutes walk from city centre. It’s 3 streets back from Matthew street. Nice breakfast. The staff at check in were really friendly and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the hotel.
Disliked: Windows don’t open. I’d like to be able to open a window to let bad odours out of the room (caused by roommate)! Also, as is the case for a lot of hotels, check in (15:00pm) is too late and checkout (11:00am) is too early.

Lovely modern hotel, well located...

Liked: Really well located in centre of town, close to waterfront and ample parking nearly (pay and display). Rooms clean and well equipped.
Disliked: Small restaurant- book ahead for your chosen time slot to avoid queues!
