Great hotel for a romantic...

Liked: Room was beautifully presented and had an amazing view out over the city and the castle. Breakfast was plentiful and of a high standard.

Liked: Very good location when travelling by train and central to everything to visit. Staff were extremely helpful. They looked after our luggage and delivered it to our room when it was ready and we were able to leave luggage on the day of departure until going to our train. Lovely clean room with a comfortable bed. Great shower and warm bathroom. Good breakfast served hot. Waiting staff were helpful and efficient. Gentleman doing the cleaning on the staircase did a great job. Everything, including the handrails were gleaming. Thank you to all staff.
Disliked: There must have been a problem with the window and it was dealt with but the window was left slightly open and it was cold when we returned. Otherwise, our stay was great.

Perfect location

Liked: The location could not be more perfect! With just £4 you get dropped off in front of the hotel by the AirPort Express bus. The train station is also on the other side of the street, which made our trip back to London so much easier. You can do everything by foot, so location really is the most attractive aspect of this hotel. The room was cozy and they had snacks free of charge at the mini bar, which was very thoughtful. The hairdryer worked well.The bar and restaurant are also really nice, with a beautiful view of the city. Came back tired one day and ordered room service, everything was delicious.
Disliked: They put us in the 5th floor, and the elevator only goes up to the 4th floor. We weren’t asked if this was ok or offered help with our luggage at any point.
