Disliked: I didn't think anywhere would beat the lakes or Edinburgh for overnight parking but the Indigo at Durham takes the crown. £20

Liked: It's a beautiful hotel and and the bar and dining room is absolutely stunning, the bedrooms are very nice and we'd definitely stop again. It's in a fantastic location aswell.

Liked: Breakfast was superb, quite a step up from other hotels I have stayed in, with the added bonus of being in such an unusual room. The location is great - less than a ten minute walk to the Cathedral. The bathroom was gorgeous and I especially liked the push-button controls for the shower. I'd love that at home!
Disliked: To order room service I had to actually go to the restaurant. I was told that I could find a menu by using a QR code on the television, but I couldn't find a QR code at all. This is a minor quibble though, especially as once the food arrived it was delicious!

Comfortable but noisy and lacking...

Liked: Bed was comfortable and breakfast was very good.
Disliked: The room was very poorly lit even with all lights set to maximum. Made it difficult to enjoy the room. There was no toilet brush left in the bathroom, which is very unpleasant.The bathroom did not have a shower curtain, so water flooded the bathroom floor.The doors are designed to slam noisily when closing, so neighbours coming in and out of rooms early woke me up.My safe did not have enough batteries, so I had to request some before leaving, which made me late for my appointment.
