Hotel Indigo Cleveland Downtown by IHG

I would like to again mention the room needs to be compensated for our disappointing stay Friday March 28th 2014 in Cleveland Ohio.

Liked: The hotel desk clerks and valet parking attendants were accommodating and pleasant.
Disliked: They will be contacting you to refund our night's stay. There were hot water issues - we couldn't shower and the noise in the hallway from a fight woke us at 4:00 A.M. We felt exhausted not comfortable at all.

Disliked: Allowed pets - website said they were not allowed. Allergic people cannot stay where pets are welcome so we cancelled the reservation.

Liked: Wonderful staff - everybody was so friendly and helpful. Very clean. comfortable beds. Very close to great food and the House of Blues!
Disliked: No ice machine on our floor.

In the Heart of it...

Liked: This hotel is perfect! Location is amazing if you're going to a sporting event or concert. Location only sucks if you're getting food delivery/uber because it's one-way and your driver cant get through if there's an event going on. ANYWAY, staff is amazing and super helpful. Beds are extremely comfy and I love that I can control heat and a/c (bc sometimes it's too cold and the heat needs to run for 3 minutes lol). Lots of dining and drinking options around as well.
Disliked: The shower head makes no sense to me. It looks like it has a removable hand-held shower nozzle, but when you remove it nothing happens. The water pressure is decent enough but hand-held nozzle would be great

Exceptional

Liked: Julia, the desk clerk was excellent. She went out of her way to get me ice when most places would have told me where the ice was located and left me to get it myself. She also told us where the nearest shopping was located. As, I got situated with the Valet she also kept my friend company.
Disliked: I didn't like the best parking option for two single ladies, one with a disability, was the $50/night valet.

Exceptional

Liked: Distance to the VA medical center.

Would return

Liked: The location to Progressive Field and bars/restaurants
Disliked: Wish there was more options like muffins, snacks, sandwiches in little market area

Superb

It was okay but will...

Liked: The location was the only good thing about this hotels
Disliked: Staff were not helpful or friendly, one of the front desk ladies was very rude. The hallways were dirty the bathroom was dirty hair on floor in sink. Floor in the room were sticky in spots were not cleaned.

Pretty decent place

Liked: Awesome spot downtown with a lot of restaurants close by.
Disliked: I ordered a room with two queen beds and they gave me a room with a king bed. I had three people, so it made it difficult to figure out. They gave us a roller bed but not cool, in my opinion.
