Disliked: Very small room & a terrible view of a wall

Liked: Location was good, close to the train station and walking distance to the city centre. Hotel was nice, breakfast was good, plenty of options. Staff were friendly. Nice gym with all new equipment.
Disliked: The food in the all day dinner was bad, over priced and really basic, the service was poor. They brought out my burger and no sign of my wife's salad for twenty minutes. When I eventually asked he pointed to the fridge where it was in a box. A tiny salad for 8 Euro. And how you were supposed to know that's where is was, I'm not sure.

Liked: We had a wonderful staff member who made up the sofa bed and helped us work the coffee machine. He was helpful and friendly and just great. I wish I'd taken his name, but he worked on the 9th floor. Merci monsieur
Disliked: I asked for twin beds. The hotel could not guarantee them, which seems odd, and my daughter in law slept on the sofa bed. It was fine, but not ideal.

Disliked: No lift to the room floor. Had to lug our luggage up and down stairs that had shorter than normal treads. Quite hazardous when going down with a load. No notification before arrival that the main entry was closed by construction. Had to bang on door in a construction zone to get entry.

Liked: Very nicely designed hotel, great breakfast and nice staff. The location is right next to metro station and only 10 minutes away from railway station, where you usually start your trips to other cities such as Ghent or Bruges. Advantage is, that in this direction, you are usually first in the train, so you can get your seats easily. Surroundings of the accomodation is safe and it's close to the city center. Overall we enjoyed our vacation in Belgium in this nice hotel. Thanks!
Disliked: Our room was quiet small and we had view to other building's windows.

Will never come back.

Disliked: the size of the room is a joke. It is a closet or a wardrobe, not a room.I could not access the shower. Really, the space between the sink and the wall would not allow me to reach the shower.*I do not consider myself oversized.
