Disappointing - 2.0 out of 5

Sean, Fairfax, VA Mon, 24 March 2014

I wouldn't stay there ever again.

Liked: The breakfast was good.
Disliked: The parking sucked - my car was vandalized! The bed in the hotel was horrible; the complimentary breakfast was the best part of the stay.

Curtis Fri, 17 November 2017

Liked: The staff goes beyond "customer service oriented" and hits the level of "engaging". From the moment we walked in the front door we were treated like friends. The room was amazing and clean (walk around barefoot clean) and the furniture was comfortable.
Disliked: The hotel was amazing, but I wish they would have built it in the inner harbor. But a taxi ride to the harbor is $5 so its no biggie.

Liked: This hotel has been totally upgraded! It was clean and the staff great! There is a parking garage directly across the street. It was well insulated because we heard no outside noises. Great in room accomodations and breakfast orders. Very impressed!

Very Good - 4.0 out of 5

Verified Hotel Guest Fri, 17 November 2017

Liked: We had an interior-facing room so we didn't have street noise. Staff in the lobby was great. Bed was comfortable. Off street parking (in a public garage across the street) was cheap and easy, since you could pay for it in the hotel.
Disliked: There was no safe in the room, and the HVAC was hard to adjust to a comfortable temperature. Room was "clean" but there were obvious gaps in the cleaning, like where the sink met the wall. Handheld shower was heavy and awkward to use.

Lauren Fri, 17 November 2017

Liked: This was a really nice place to stay, the bookshelf wall paper in the room was adorable. Everything looked brand new and very clean, and I loved the Aveda toiletries!
Disliked: I went on a weekend and there was very limited free parking, but there was a convenient parking garage across the street that wasn't too pricy.

Liked: Trendy boutique hotel with a very cozy bed. Parking garage across street was only $5 if out by 6 am.

Exceptional - 5.0 out of 5

Liked: From the young man that met us at the door to the desk staff we were impressed with the fine and friendly service offered at the Indigo Hotel. A beautiful lobby with a festive and fun bar restaurant off to the right where we had a fine dinner.
Disliked: They might offer valet parking. The parking is right across the street but valet might be nice. When we arrived the desk staff might have mentioned what a lovely bar restaurant they have.

Liked: this is a newer hotel in an old, repurposed YMCA. This is my second time staying at this property. From the rooms to the lobby to the restaurant/bar area it is beautiful.
