Uncomfortable and would not stay...

Liked: The outside of the building is beautiful. The floor plan is beautiful. The breakfast was good. Housekeeping is friendly.
Disliked: The furniture is old, dirty and worn. The locks on the doors may not work. They don’t have hot water. The curtain are worn out. The bed is unusually firm. The bathroom fixtures are held together by glue. The tubs are peeling, scratched and old. The walls have openings around the vents near the floor. There is air conditioning but no heat.

Passable

Liked: Location
Disliked: Amenities fell short of expectations. Rooms are dark, and towels are poor quality. An extra pillow is not available.

Virgen of Guadulupe trip

Liked: The location was excellent for catching the Turibus which is a great way to get around and sight see.
Disliked: The staff, although pleasant, are not accustomed to catering to guest needs. The rooms are outdated with poor lighting. The shower was never really hot, had poor volume of water, and you had to stretch your leg to get into the tub. It is high. Could not ask for an extra pillow because they are inventoried and no extras allowed. Towels were like sand paper and small. We spoke to our housekeeper, and she was able to get us decent towels. She was extremely helpful.

It was ok

Liked: The location was good.
Disliked: I know is an old building, I’m ok with that. But still you have to keep the place in good conditions, I think it needs maintenance and replace things if necessary. The bathroom really needs a good maintenance. My room didn’t have towels nor soaps, I have to ask for it. Also, they should invest in towels as well, really bad towels.

Great hotel view with friendly...

Liked: The hotel is located in a busy street and it is safe to walk around during the day and night time. The staff were very attentive and friendly.
Disliked: My suite furniture was old and felt dirty. The bathroom jacuzzi had stains, part of a wall in the bathroom was falling apart. The hotel is old but needs maintenance. If you are looking for a quiet room, this is not the place. You can hear street noises at any time of the day.

Poor - 1.5 out of 5

Did not meet my expectations

Liked: The hotel looks great from the outside and it is very well located
Disliked: The rooms are very disappointing. Black mold in the bathroom ceiling and very old furniture. Hard beds and even harder pillows. Looks like dust has been accumulating in the carpets for ages. It may have been a really nice hotel 100 years ago but it really needs some love to bring it back.
