The hotel was great. The only complaint I have is the outdated hair dryer. It smelled like something burning, and my hair got tangled in the back side of it. I had to rip out a substantial chunk of my hair to get free.

Liked: We loved the vintage ambiance of the hotel.
Disliked: Outdated hairdryer.

Liked: Very nice hotel; accommodating staff.
Disliked: Nothing negative to report.

The weather was cold, the hotel was cozy and beautiful. Loved the quietness of the room. The complimentary shuttle was a huge perk. This was a great choice and will stay here again.

motel feel for spa hotel...

Liked: Location was very central
Disliked: It felt like a motel. Not an autograph hotel. The room was dirty, the hotel itself was run down and seemed like it needed a full Renault, paint redesign etc. We expected for a "spa hotel" for things to smell nicer in the spa. For the bedrooms we expected to see bathrobes and slippers at least. The shower looked a bit grubby but i think it was cleaned just old. The wallpaper was peeling at the edges and patched poorly.

Liked: Very unique and beautiful
Disliked: The AC unit had such a loud click every time it came on preventing me from getting a good night sleep. Plus the airflow was very load as well. Other than that everything else was great.

Stunning historic building, beautiful rooms...

Liked: King corner room with adjoining 2 queens room was exceptional. The king room is beautiful and very large. The separate bathroom was exceptional with jet tub overlooking the city and separate shower. Bright and spacious.The adjoining queen room was lovely, not quite as large and less dramatic bathroom. Super comfy beds with down pillows!Appreciated the work out room was available at no additional cost.
Disliked: The elevator is haunted (or just has a mind of it’s own)Randomly stops on every floor or every other with no one waiting to board.Mentioned this to staff member … replied “that’s no surprise”.

Wonderful historic hotel, great downtown...

Liked: Rooms are spacious and beautiful. Corner king room was gorgeous with huge jet tub and separate shower.Bright and airy. Black out curtains for the win!Staff is kind and courteous.
Disliked: The elevator has a mind of its own. Randomly stopping at every floor and long waits for its arrival.

It was a decent stay.

Liked: The ambiance in my room was nice and I appreciated the luxe features in the bathroom especially the spa tub.
Disliked: The smell of the room was off putting and it felt stuffy, I was surprised there were stains on multiple pieces of furniture, the noise from the street made it difficult to rest, and there wasn’t much of a view.

Memorable

Liked: Excellent customer service from the front desk to the breast fast buffet staff. I will return again!
