Pleasant

Liked: The location was good. Staff were accommodating.
Disliked: The bed and linens were clean but the shower looked like it needed a good scrub. One of the chairs was broken. There was a coffee machine but no coffee. The hallways and stairs looked dirty.

Decent hotel but needs upgrading...

Liked: Great location, nice breakfast, beautiful courtyard.
Disliked: There wasa pubic hair in the sink upon arrival. Room smelled like fish. Beds uncomfortable and old.

Clean room and well maintained...

Liked: Our second time staying here was a better experience than our first. Room was clean, tidy, and quiet compared to our first stay. Parking lot is well lit and there was no strangers roaming across the parking lot or any area in the property.
Disliked: Slamming doors and our door was gaped from the bottom making it hard to keep the temperature we set.

We got what we paid...

Liked: The location was why we booked this hotel. We also were looking for a budget rate. The housekeeping staff were friendly and helpful. The staff fixed a broken skin stopper.
Disliked: Enduring a loud evangelist ( Joel Osteen )on the big screen TV in the lobby when I had to checking was more than off putting. It was insulting and aggressive. It is a public space and not a church. I did not step into that lobby again until I checked out.

Close to City of Hope

Liked: Convenient to City of Hope. Lobby person very nice on checkin. Price reasonable. In back of strip mall pretty quiet. Pool but didn’t use.
Disliked: Pillows flat. Coffee maker but no coffee except pot made in lobby. Cups but no lids or creamers. Curtain wouldn’t stay closed light from parking lot coming in. Carpet and cloth bed frame stained. No carpet please too many germs. Towels very rough and no place to hang by shower exit??? Elevator really not convenient the gate locked in front of it and with no baggage mover/caddy you have to walk to where fence ends/starts to get to 2nd/3rd floors. Lots of trips to car and back and was over 100 degrees.
