Liked: Loved indoor pool in winter. Nice and warm. Great location. Walked to Costco and got a hot dog. Remember to bring your Costco membership card. Free underground parking. Lovely people on reception. Overall a very cool place to stay. Heaps of shopping and restaurants/bars nearby.
Disliked: Room seemed a little antiquated- that’s ok because I paid stuff all for it. I think they must be renovating a section of the hotel and giving promotional rates to overseas travellers? That being said everything worked and was clean. The location was more Westminster than Huntington Beach.

Liked: The location was ideal for the reason we booked this room. The lamps etc. had plenty of plugs for devices. The hot water came up right away & WAS hot. The bar was fine with an excellent bartender, except it opened so late, especially if you planned bar food for dinner.
Disliked: The shower has no platforms for items like soap, etc. Plus it was iffy if you like something to hold onto, like a grab-bar or even a soap dish with an attached washcloth holder. When booking we didn't realize there would be no fridge or microwave in the room! It seems standard everywhere we've always been - but not here. Came to find out they'd charge more for that. The breakfast was good, but it was a buffet, just like we'd have in a place with included breakfast - yet they charge for it. The vending machines seemed like they weren't attended to in quite awhile. The prices (when posted) were inaccurate, some of the code numbers couldn't be read.
