Lovely staff, good room and...

Liked: The staff in the hotel were lovely. Thanks to Jan, from Czech Republic, for sorting us out on our arrival, there was a bit of confusion about our room. He was a lovely guy. All staff were nice. The room was a decent size, and good wheelchair-accessible bathroom, which is a wheelchair user, it's essential to me. I chose the hotel because of its location for bus routes. It's in between two of the main train stations, so the area is extremely well served by bus routes. You can get EVERYWHERE in Paris from this location. But that is the trade-off. It's not the greatest area of town. Still, we had no problem.
Disliked: I choose the location because it is in between two of the biggest train stations in Paris, so it is extremely well served by the Parisien bus network. You can get EVERYWHERE in Paris, mostly with just one bus, from this location. However, that is also the downside. The location is very busy, but it's quite a scruffy area as well, not the best area of town. The hotel is perfectly clean. But the area is a bit intimidating. And noisy. Still, we didn't have any issues.

Liked: The stafff was very friendly. The bed was very comfortable and they provided bath robes and clean and fluffy towels. Location was convenient because we wanted to be close to gare du nord. My son forgot his ipad pen and when we emailed them they had found it and put it aside. Very nice.
Disliked: It was warm so I had to open the window and it was very loud because of the location. Not their fault. When I called front desk twice to ask for wifi password , no one answered. That was weird but ok.

Liked: Location was perfect, right next to the station, was allowed to check in early, free tea as and when required, exceptional staff who catered to all requirements and a pretty decent sized room as well with all amenities provided . This is a perfect hotel for smallish holidays. absolutely no complaints. Highly recommended.
Disliked: Can't think of anything at all

Liked: The staff were excellent especially helpful when my husband was sick.The bed was very comfortable. Incredible shower. Great location to the Gare du Nord and also an excellent patisserie, Mayat. Loved the free coffee/ chocolate etc in the breakfast room, at any time.
Disliked: The safe was so small we couldn't fit in our laptop or camera. Breakfast was ok but rather fair standard for the price.
