Lack of attention to detail

Liked: Slightly old-fashioned but priceworthy hotel. Easily reachable by car on the edge of town and yet only about a 10 minute walk to the city center.
Disliked: Lots of little things: missing electrical outlets in the room. A missing "do not disturb" sign. Worn carpets. A breakfast buffet that is missing the one or other item that was there the other day, something simple like a decent knife to cut the brie cheese.
