Very glad we chose this...

Liked: Unique decor, great outside space including seating to take advantage of the view. Very helpful when we arrived 6 hours before check-in. Stored our bags.

Great location, close to beach...

Liked: An old hotel that has been restored into a bit of boutique hotel style… It is a charming design and the beds are very comfortable.Be sure to get a courtyard or beach view room, otherwise your window faces in extremely busy and trafficked streetThe beds were comfy, and the room redone, but one could also tell it was a bit of an old hotel with a facelift.One great benefit is covered and secure overnight parking off the street… You do need to pay $30 for that, but it is worth it.
Disliked: The “city view” rooms are on a very busy street. Be sure to book a courtyard or beach view room

Liked: Location is good. Food markets are across the street. 10 minutes walking from the hermosa beach. Hotel was clean. Windows are opening.
Disliked: Too noisy from street if you take the room with city view.

Liked: great location , walk to the beach easily and stores all nearby.
Disliked: room furniture was dated and needed replacing. front desk staff were ok. nothing exceptional , not friendly , personable or welcoming. no thanks, no hello, waited for check in , looked like we woke up the clerk. very uninterested.

Liked: very comfy and quiet, good space and towels provided. loved the walk down to the beach, one of the nicest beachest in the whole of cali in my eyes
Disliked: i loved everything. a bath would have maybe been nice
