Some disappointments but overall good...
Liked: Hotel was well located in the historic district. It is near lots of cigar places, which is why we were there. The room was well-appointed and comfortable.
Disliked: To have your room cleaned, bed made, new towels, you have to call or arrange for it the night before. I guess there is a shortage of staff? But at this price point, not to have the bed made and fresh towels? Surprising and disappointing. Also, we arrived after a horrendous day of travel. Tried to get in the restaurant but the hostess said it was "full". I had to ask if we could eat at the bar, which we could. She was just not interested in offering a suggestion like that. I found that attitude was prevalent during our stay, from finding eating options to finding transport to our next destination. Staff is pleasant but just not interested in helping you have a good experience at that property or Tampa. This was the direct opposite of very pleasant emails I received prior to our visit. The person sending emails should be the manager.

Great hotel in good location
Liked: Lovely spacious room with very comfy bed; friendly helpful staff; great location in Ybor; pool and bar area.
Disliked: There is too much use of disposable plastic and paper cups; toiletries not replenished and should use refillable bottles; would have been good if we could have opened our window
